Gentle yoga is a slower and less strenuous paced class that uses traditional standing and seated poses to stretch and strengthen the body.
We start by connecting to the breath and then progress through a series of poses, focusing on proper alignment and body awareness. It is an ideal practice for beginners or students who may have injuries since it puts less strain on the body. I like to use props such as, blocks, blankets, straps, and bolsters to offer modifications when needed to make poses more accessible or more challenging.
